Crews have been working around the clock to clear the beaches Hangout stages and get them ready for the Memorial Day weekendIt takes between three and four weeks of preparation and setup to get everything ready for the start of the festival. It’s a massive footprint with two main beach stages and as well as smaller stages throughout the venue. By Tuesday morning, the east stage was nearly gone, and the west stage was halfway down.

Timing is critical because by late this week, tourists will be flocking to the beaches for the Memorial Day holiday. This is the 14th year for the Hangout Music Festival and in that time, the teardown is down to a science. The weather should cooperate, and city leaders said the experienced crews will make that happen.
