Much warmer for the week’s end than how we started it! A stray shower or storm is possible today, but a better chance for stronger storms arrives late Sunday.Good Friday morning! We’re heading into the weekend with much warmer temperatures than what we had for the first half of the week.
Temps are starting in the mid-40s with mostly cloudy skies. We’ll see a few peeks of sun from time to time as we warm to a high around 70. Southwest winds at 10–15 mph today. There may be a few isolated showers or storms popping up today, mainly in Eastern Ohio, but it’s only about a 30% chance of rain and much of Central Ohio will stay dry. Nice for most of the weekend, then storms arrive late. Saturday starts in the lower 40s with a few clouds, then more afternoon sun as we warm to a high around 67. Very light winds Saturday. Sunday winds pick up out of the south at 10–20 mph. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds and warm to around 79. Most of the day will be dry, but rain chances increase in the evening to around 60%. A cold front will move from north to south across Ohio Sunday evening, triggering scattered showers and storms. Some storms could become strong with gusty winds as they move south. Sunday will be an ALERT DAY because of the potentially severe storms in the evening. Stay weather-aware and check back for forecast updates over the next few days.Cooler to start next week. Monday will be partly cloudy with a high around 47. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a high around 53. More clouds Wednesday with a high around 57. Then we warm up again Thursday with a high around 71 and a chance for showers and storms later in the day with another cold front. Cooler weather returns heading into next weekend.
