WEDNESDAY: Chance for rain, mostly cloudy, high 55.Mostly sunny, warm Friday, with wintry mix chances on the way Good Friday morning! I highly recommend taking advantage of the next couple of days to get outside and enjoy the sunshine and warmer temperatures. Central Ohio is projected to experience up to 2–3 inches of rain within the next seven days, so next week looks very wet. A couple rounds of wintry mix are also possible while it is colder. Today we’re starting off around 30 with partly cloudy skies. We’ll get back to mostly sunny skies with a high around 58. There will be a brisk southwest breeze at 5–15 mph. Mostly clear tonight as we dip to around 40. Saturday will start sunny, then more clouds arrive during the afternoon as we warm to a high around 58 with lighter northwest winds. An approaching cold front will bring a few showers late Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. Temps dip into the 30s quickly overnight, so showers may mix with snow. It looks light and scattered, but roads could be wet or slushy overnight and early Sunday. Colder Sunday and Monday. Sunday will be dry for most of the daytime hours with mostly cloudy skies, a morning low around 28, and a high around 37. A disturbance swings across the region Monday for another round of rain/snow mix. Temps are cold enough, high around 37, for it to lean more toward snow at times. Latest models have shifted the track a little farther south, so I dropped our chances from 60% to 40% for now. We’ll keep an eye on it this weekend.Soaking rain next week as we warm up. Tuesday has a 70% chance of rain with a high around 48. Wednesday rain may take a break for part of the day with a 40% chance of rain, and we warm to a high around 55.
