SAN ANTONIO — During the fall and winter, cold fronts are more frequent giving us a break from the heat! This kind of weather pattern has a huge impact on our body and skin. As humidity drops, it almost dehydrates us.

With less moisture in the atmosphere, our bodies react resulting in chapped lips, rough and itchy skin.Dr. Garcia explains once your skin becomes constantly red and is painful or tender, that can be a sign of skin infection.Dr. Garcia recommends creams over lotion especially during the Winter. She also mentioned a new product she's excited to market called"internal hydration," which she said helps improve the texture and radiance of skin by drawing water in.
