The shift from daylight time to standard time messes with our internal clocks, but does it also mess with the weather?
There is good and bad that comes with the time change. It’s very nice to get an extra hour of sleep Sunday morning, but it may not be worth taking our internal clocks out of whack. But besides its impacts on us, can changing the clocks actually impact the weather? Well, changing the clocks actually has zero impact on the weather directly. However, there are impacts to how we perceive the weather. One thing you’ll notice is how soon it will get dark Sunday night.
Sunday’s forecast A relatively nice day is setting up across Southeast Texas on Sunday. The day will start quite mild as low temperatures stay above average, in the low to mid 60s. There is a chance of some patchy fog too, so take it slow on the roads if you run into reduced visibility. Temperatures will warm steadily throughout the day. Houston will rise into the 70s by 11 a.m., and we’ll top out in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees by the afternoon.
