After another long, hot summer across the Lone Star State , the first fall cold front is set to move across Texas this weekend. This front will cause humidity levels to plunge and bring more seasonable temperatures to the area, at least temporarily. It’s important to remember that we’re still in early September. During this time of year, cold fronts are generally not going to make us grab our winter coats just yet.
It’ll be the first time San Antonio temperatures have been under 60 degrees since May 31. The Hill Country will be treated to even cooler weather. Sunday morning low temps are expected to tumble into the upper 50s in places like Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Blanco. Sunday afternoon: Because this cold front is not particularly strong, temperatures will rebound quickly on Sunday. Afternoon highs will reach between 85 and 87 degrees in San Antonio under sunny skies.
