Webster, N.Y. — Construction on a massive dairy facility in Monroe County is now underway.

Coca-Cola broke ground Thursday on its new 745,000-square-foot Fairlife plant on Tebor Road in Webster .

The facility marks the company's first production facility in the Northeast. It's slated to open in the second half of 2025 and is expected to create 250 jobs for the area. "When we come together, and we partner, and we work with private industry this is what can happen," said Supervisor Tom Flaherty of Webster. "And really, hundreds of people over the last two years have been involved in this.""This is a statement that this part of our state matters," Gov. Kathy Hochul said. "These investments could have gone to other parts of our country, but you picked this area and you picked this community because you saw this potential.

"This Webster facility represents an additional 650 million investment in the Town of Webster, in New York," said Jennifer Mann of Coca-Cola. "We will deepen the impact and create more jobs and support the livelihood of people in the state." Fairlife says sustainability is the focal point of the new facility, featuring improved efficiencies, new hardware, and better monitoring processes that will lessen its overall environmental footprint.
