“In light of this, we are requesting the assistance of the general public, particularly the store owners in the affected road areas to clear the parking areas on Jalan Gaya, Jln Bandaran, and Lintasan Deasoka from 5pm until 12pm,” - Mayor Datuk Noorliza.
Mayor Datuk Noorliza Awang Alip , in a statement Thursday, said the carnival being organised by the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah , will be held at Lintasan Deasoka Jalan Gaya , Jalan Bandaran and all parking spaces at Taman Poket.
“In light of this, we are requesting the assistance of the general public, particularly the store owners in the affected road areas, to clear the parking areas on Jalan Gaya, Jalan Bandaran, and Lintasan Deasoka from 5pm until midnight in order to give way to the event,” she said.Road users are urged to use other routes and nearby public parking lots during the temporary road closure period and to follow the directions of the enforcement authorities in charge.
