Coach J.B. Bickerstaff stuck with the quintet that worked so well during Friday’s win over Charlotte, putting his faith in a trio of reserves to pick up the slack for Love.

Okoro, the embattled young swingman, scored in double figures for the first time in 19 games -- a stretch that goes back to April 2 of last season. He finished with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting and 2 of 5 from 3-point range in 29 confidence-boosting minutes. It’s also his first time making multiple triples in a game since March 24.Despite failing to score in 14 first-half minutes, LeVert still made an impact, dishing out four assists and grabbing five rebounds.

Miami was shorthanded as well, playing without its top two scorers -- Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro -- as well as backup guard Gabe Vincent. The lack of depth showed throughout, as coach Erik Spoelstra tried to piece together workable lineups. But each time Miami sprinkled in the backups, Cleveland pulled away, including the beginning of the second quarter when the Cavs opened on a 10-3 run to gain full control.All-Star point guard Darius Garland led all scorers with 25 points.

The Heat got 21 points from center Bam Adebayo and 12 from Caleb Martin. Veteran point guard Kyle Lowry finished with just nine points on 2-of-10 shooting. No Love. No Dean Wade. No Dylan Windler. No Ricky Rubio. No problem. Next man up. Without their second-unit leader and stabilizer, Osman, Okoro and LeVert provided plenty enough on this night. The Cavs will play the second game of a home back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
