The latest victim of a catalytic converter theft was Internet Autos at 4617 W. 130th St. on Oct. 6, according to police.

Police said the suspects are using a dark-colored full-size pickup truck, but the make and model are unknown. Cleveland Division of Police First District Community Relations shared this surveillance photo of the suspects:Yolanda Cossu who has owned Internet Auto for 24 years tells 19 News, “It’s gotten very bad, so bad, that some of these dealers want to stay at their business all night long and catch these people. In the video you can see them carrying the saws on their shoulder and one had the jack in his hand. Just walking down the street like it was nothing.

Cossu is calling on lawmakers to take action and make harsher punishments for stealing catalytic converters, she says local business owners should not have to keep paying the cost of the crime. She’s also asking Cleveland Police to step up patrols in the area.
