Pioneering progressive rock group Yes will appear at the Mobile Saenger Theatre this fall.

The lineup for the “Classic Tales of Yes” tour includes guitarist Steve Howe, a member of the group in its ‘70s heyday. According to promotional materials, the tour also features “an art gallery on site.” Tickets for the Oct. 13 show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, July 21, through Ticketmaster with prices starting at $35.50 plus fees.

The tour features the same lineup that recorded the group’s most recent studio album, “Mirror to the Sky,” released earlier this year. Howe is joined by keyboardist Geoff Downes, lead singer Jon Davison and bassist Billy Sherwood, all Yes veterans, and newcomer Jay Schellen on drums.Yes carved out a unique place for itself in the 1970s with intricate, ambitious long-form songs such as “Starship Trooper,” “Roundabout,” “I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Close to the Edge” and “Yours is No Disgrace.

“This is a very important album for the band,” Howe has said of “Mirror to the Sky,” which he produced. “We kept the continuity in the approach we established on [2021 album] ‘The Quest,’ but we haven’t repeated ourselves. That was the main thing. As Yes did in the seventies from one album to another, we’re growing and moving forward. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
