Daily chances for random showers and storms exist through at least Thursday.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The first week of June will be defined by a truly summer-like pattern here in Central Alabama. About what you’d expect this time of year, right?

High temperatures will generally top out in the upper 80s to around 90 each afternoon with overnight temps in the upper 60s and lower 70s.Each day through Thursday there will be at least some shower and thunderstorm activity. Some days will feature more of that than others. I will say that as of right now Tuesday looks like a day that could bring a bit more action on radar.

Still, no washouts or widespread rains are currently in the forecast. It’ll be isolated to scattered showers and storms -- mainly during the afternoons and evenings. Again, classic summertime weather! It appears a rare June cold front will then swing through to end the week. As a result, the humidity will drop off a little bit. Not only that, but rain and storm chances will be very low around 10% Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s likely that a large portion of Central Alabama will go without rain those three days.
