A massive Chinese rocket booster has made an uncontrolled reentry into the Earth's atmosphere, the U.S. Space Command confirms.

The Aerospace Corporationit is now following Space-Track.org for confirmation of reentry and location because the rocket may be too low to be seen by its sensors. It also updated that its latest prediction for reentry is 1:08 p.m., plus or minus an hour.Share to TwitterWith an object of this size, some but not all of the rocket booster will burn up in the Earth's atmosphere, with 20-40% of the mass -- about five to nine metric tons -- likely to remain, according to the Aerospace Corporation.
