China’s BYD unveils 385-mile range EV that charges 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes

BYD has introduced a new Flash Charging Edition of its Fang Cheng Bao Ti3, bringing ultra-fast charging capabilities to the brand’s growing lineup.

Chinese EV giant BYD has launched a new version of its Fang Cheng Bao Ti3 equipped with advanced flash-charging technology designed to dramatically shorten charging times . The Ti3 Flash Charging Edition is offered in two variants and integrates the company’s latest Blade Battery 2.

The SUV features an AI-powered intelligent cockpit that integrates voice interaction, smart navigation, and personalized vehicle controls to create a more adaptive in-car experience. It also incorporates the God’s Eye driver-assistance platform, which uses a combination of sensors, cameras, and advanced algorithms to support functions such as adaptive driving assistance, enhanced situational awareness, and automated safety responses.Torque-vectoring control and performance braking packageThe four-wheel-drive version of the Ti3 adds a series of premium features aimed at improving performance, comfort, and the overall driving experience. The model comes equipped with several intelligent driving technologies, including iATS all-terrain recognition and the iTAC intelligent torque control system, which continuously adjusts power distribution to maintain traction across different surfaces. Together with an intelligent electric four-wheel-drive system, these technologies help the SUV adapt more effectively to varying road and off-road conditions. The vehicle also features 19-inch five-spoke smoked black wheels, while braking performance is enhanced through four-piston front fixed calipers paired with perforated front brake discs.Inside the cabin, the Ti3 integrates electronically controlled seating systems designed for ergonomic customization.
