A child who was found wandering alone on the West Side Thursday has been identified.
Chicago police said a child who was found wandering alone in the 4700-block of West Fullerton in Belmont Cragin Thursday is now in the care of DCFS.Chicago police are looking for the family of a child who was found wandering alone on the West Side Thursday.
Police said the girl was found just before 1 p.m. walking alone in the 4700-block of West Fullerton avenue in the city's Belmont Cragin neighborhood. Police said the girl has been identified but they have not said whether her family has been found. Chicago police confirmed just before 5:45 p.m. the girl had been taken into the custody of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
