Meek’s accident occurred Dec. 19 in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, and he “sustained blunt force injuries after falling to the road from a moving vehicle,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said toTerry Ree, "The Indian" in Williams and Ree Comedy Team, Dies at 75Meek’s Instagram account . “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.”
A sophomore at Vestavia Hills High School, he was a member of the Vestavia Hills Rebel Football Team. According to the obituary, he was also passionate about his faith;, having binged all 36 seasons of the series; his close friends; water sports; anything in the woods; traveling; and acting. Meek appeared in a handful of minor roles in TV and short films before nabbing the role of Young Baby Driver in’s 2017 feature about a getaway driver tied up with a crime boss and a heist gone wrong. The movie was a critical and box office hit that helped push Meek’s career forward.
