During a tense round of budget estimates hearings on Monday, Natasha Fyles confirmed the review was still ongoing, but was expected to be finished by August, after which it would be released."That work is continuing, and as soon as a change is identified, we're prepared to jump on it," she said."As quickly as we can, we will present this work to the community.

Asked about this on Monday, Ms Fyles was on non-committal on whether or not this would happen, but did say there may be further changes to the territory's bail laws following the review.Declan Laverty's death caused an outpouring of grief in Darwin.
