BBC Breakfast mainstay Charlie Stayt is reportedly facing bankruptcy after he and his wife were served petitions by HMRC on Monday .
The couple, who have two children, bought their four-bedroom home in Twickenham, South West London, for £800,000 way back in 2002, and it is now worth up to an eye-watering £2.3 million. Anne and Charlie have been together for over 20 years and they share two children, who are now grown up.Their eldest is Phoebe Senara, who was born in 1997, and their youngest is Jake Hamilton, who was born in 2000. Charlie started his TV career in 1995 at ITN before moving to Channel 5 as a reporter.
