BBC Breakfast welcomed a new face onto its presenting line-up during Thursday's episode, with a different host chatting to Naga Munchetty and Charlie Statyt about interest rates
A brand new presenter has joined the BBC Breakfast team as the morning show shakes up its hosting line-up.
"Guest appearance on @BBCBreakfast this morning, looking ahead to today’s Bank of England interest rate decision. Back after 9," she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Earlier this week, BBC Breakfast hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent were forced to apologise after the show received "hundreds and hundreds" of complaints over a recent segment. The pair revealed that viewers were left furious after Tuesday's segment about a Yorkshire council choosing not to use apostrophes on its street signs.
