A judge ruled that the transcript and audio recordings of a closed-door hearing involving Tyler Robinson, the man accused of shooting and killing Charlie Kirk, can be released in redacted forms.Monday's hearing centered on how much access the media and public should have as Robinson's case continues in Provo, Utah.
Robinson, 22, appeared virtually Monday in a Utah courtroom for a hearing related to media coverage of the court proceedings. Judge Tony Graf Jr. said the redactions amounted to 246 words in the 80-page transcript. Several national and local news organizations filed a motion to preserve media access to the case.Robinson is charged with aggravated murder, two counts of obstruction of justice for hiding the rifle and discarding his clothing, two counts of witness tampering for instructing a roommate to delete texts and stay silent and one count of committing a violent offense in front of children.
