Chappell Roan rocked a see-through dress and entirely backless look paired with a lacy thong while hitting up the star-studded shows at Paris Fashion Week
Paris Fashion Week delivered pure theatrical glamour thanks to Chappell Roan, who turned two iconic shows into her personal stage. She made a fashion statement by going braless at the Alexander McQueen Autumn Winter 2026 show on Sunday, March 8, wearing a see-through black gown that channeled gothic elegance.
The dress featured an embellished collar, sculpted mesh panels and a floor-length silhouette. Roan finished the look with her signature flame-red curls that draped down to her bottom and striking glam with bold eyeliner and a mauve lip. The “Pink Pony Club” singer wore a dramatic bejeweled choker necklace with eye-catching drop earrings and bracelets. She wore yet another look styled by Genesis Webb during her appearance at the Vivienne Westwood show during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, March 7. She opted for a Victorian-era moment by donning a structured gray jacket with exaggerated shoulders, a plunging neckline and an embellished bodice. Her long skirt had a backless cutaway and showed off her lacy thong. Roan went for an ultra-pale glam done by Andrew Dahling, who opted for a soft purple cut crease, a splash of bright pink blush and a bleached brow vibe. The chart-topping performer has continued to push boundaries with her looks after leaving little to the imagination while hitting the red carpet at the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1. Roan’s custom sheer Mugler gown showed off her faux ink and fell from her nipple rings. Her makeup artist Sasha Glasser detailed how they pulled off the look during an interview with Allure. “There are different ways to design tattoos for makeup and companies that make really amazing options, but because we decided on the look the night before, I had to print the designs out at Staples 30 minutes before the store closed,” Glasser revealed. “It’s basically a paper that has this shiny wax on top, so the ink sits on top, and the moment you put water on the back, the ink falls off.” Glasser also used prosthetic supplies from a brand called Out of Kit to cover up the singer’s nipples and create fake piercings, adding, “It helps when you have good prosthetics, but it’s also a testament to our skills that we’ve worked so long on perfecting.”
