At a special Jan. 28 City Council caucus, Mayor Matt Castelli and OHM Advisors Landscape Architect/Senior Project Manager Jeremy Hinte provided an update on plans for creating Central Park in Middleburg Heights Commons.

The Central Park reading garden concept plan contains onion-style swings to pay homage to Middleburg Heights as a past onion farming capital of the world. The property being developed along Bagley Road extends from I-71 at its western end to Big Creek Parkway on the east.
