Good morning, Central Ohio! It is a cloudy and cold start to the weekend ahead of a low-pressure system. Before transitioning into cold rain showers, a brief period of freezing rain will be possible. Freezing rain will linger in Northern Ohio which is under a Winter Weather Advisory Counties like Wyandot, Crawford, Hardin, Logan, Marion, Morrow, and Knox counties will be icy with ice accumulations up to 0.1-0.2". Slick spots will be possible on elevated and untreated surfaces.
It will be dry on Sunday as a high-pressure system settles into the region. Unfortunately, the clouds will stick around for the rest of the weekend. By Monday, clouds clear out for mostly to partly sunny skies. Temperatures will be below average in the upper 30s. Our next weather maker arrives by Tuesday with the chance for snow showers south of I-70. Cloudy skies persist Wednesday before another low-pressure system tracks into the region.
