The Hungarian Scout Folk Ensemble perform in their colorful authentic folk costumes at the American Hungarian Friends of Scouting 68th Hungarian Festival.PARMA, Ohio - Hungarian culture will come alive at Ohio’s largest Hungarian festival on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The one-day event takes place on Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the German Central Park, 7863 York Rd., in Parma.
Musical entertainment will be provided live throughout the day by local talent Walt Mahovlich and Harmonia and Alex Udvary and his Band from Chicago. Admission is $10, free for children under ten. Parking is free, with handicapped spaces near the entrance gate and accessibility throughout the park. No coolers and no pets are allowed. The festival is supported by a generous grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and the Bethlen Gabor Foundation in Hungary.
