Branch 4 of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Cebu City ordered on Monday the immediate release of the eight individuals, collectively referred to as Cebu 8. These are violations of Section 13 of the Public Assembly Act of 1985 ; Section 9 of the Law on Reporting of Communicable Diseases , and simple resistance and disobedience to an agent of a person in authority under Article 151 paragraph 2 of the Revised Penal Code
