Catherine, Princess of Wales, has hailed the “power of nature to support our development and wellbeing” as she continues to undergo cancer treatment. The royal stepped back into the spotlight earlier this week, appearing at Wimbledon, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd before presenting the men’s trophy to this year’s champion Carlos Alcaraz.
Her appearance at Wimbledon earlier in the week was Catherine’s second major public outing this year, after taking several months off for treatment for an unspecified form of cancer found during major abdominal surgery in January. The Princess was last seen at Trooping the Colour in June, where she stood proudly on the balcony at Buckingham Palace with King Charles and her family for the event. In March, the royal explained her illness with an Instagram post.
