Earlier in the tournament, Catherine paid tribute to the two-time Wimbledon men’s singles champion Sir Andy Murray, saying he should be “so very proud” after he missed out on a final chance at the tournament. Muray was due to play mixed doubles with Emma Raducanu but the former US Open women’s singles champion pulled out of the match, citing stiffness in her right wrist.
On Friday, she missed a charity polo match as husband, the Prince of Wales, took to the field to raise funds for good causes at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park.
