She’s charged with murder in the death of Lazarus Tanksley.
According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Genesis dropped her ex off at University Hospital on New Year’s Day and left him there after he was shot in Prichard on St. Stephens Road.
Gazzier says around 1 a.m. a nearby witness walking down the road heard the victim and suspect arguing. Genesis’s attorney, who is appointed by the public defender’s office, also disagreed with the judge’s ruling.
