Greenacre Park, a care home in Leicester, has been rated 'requires improvement' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an inspection in September and October 2023. Inspectors found numerous issues, including inadequate care records, incomplete medication monitoring, and concerns about residents' safety during emergencies. The Care Quality Commission said it visited Greenacre Park, which opened in Elmdon Drive, Humberstone, in 2023, after "serious concerns" were raised., compiled in September and October, inspectors highlighted multiple issues raised by staff and relatives, and gave it the rating of "requires improvement" in all areas.

For one resident with diabetes, daily monitoring was not "always adequately completed", meaning they were "at increased risk of deterioration" in their health. CQC inspectors also found several residents' bed linen stained and dirty, with a staff member saying "urine stain was still present".
