The final installment of a season-long series of interviews with players from 35 seasons of Cardinals history features Hall-of-Famer Aeneas Williams.
It's a little hard to believe that the Cardinals have been in the Phoenix area for that long. But Williams is one of the best to ever put on a uniform for the team, and he still impacts the game as one who votes on how to properly and fairly share the millions of dollars the NFL earmarked for social justice initiatives.
A:"The great thing is the collaboration, the players, the league, and literally being able some organizations that are startups in a player's community that's brought to our attention, that they're getting people out to vote. And when those players bring those organizations to the table, we're able to look at them and work together with the organization.
Q: What comes to mind when you look back on your football career and where you started all the way to becoming a Hall-of-Famer? "To see what God did as it relates to just having the passion to fulfill potential, and then had the opportunity to play with the great players I played with in Arizona, and then the players that I played with the Rams in St. Louis. It's just so many people that played a part in what I've experienced as a player."A:"Actually Budda Baker is one of those, I think of baseball, five-tool guys.
