Cottle and Tomaszewski will appear on the ballot for District 34 residents in the November 5 general election.

When there was a teacher shortage a while ago, they requested, and I was able to help out being a substitute teacher, and I’ve also volunteered at a local fire department seven years, a while ago, and I’m still active with them today. This is a need in the community, to have a representative that truly listens to you.

“I’d like to make sure that our kids have a future and education opportunities available to them. I’d also like to support teachers and public employees having a retirement system that incentivizes them to stay here in Alaska.
