Hill, known for his routine appearances speaking during council meetings, is seeking the District 2 council seat during the Aug. 26, 2025, municipal election.
A community activist who shows up to as many council meetings as some of the current members, often speaking his mind on the hot button local issues of the day, says he is running for the Mobile City Council District 2 seat.
“In my District -- District 2 -- there are constituents who live on Section 8 and constituents who own mansions on Government Street,” Hill said in a statement Tuesday. “I have served as a county election officer for them all, and even those economically in between. It is far past time that our city’s most diverse district finally has representation who embodies the needs of every single one of our fellow citizens.
