Fast-casual restaurant franchise Shake Shack is branching out into Sugar Land this month, according to a company press release.

Set to open June 22 at 2515 Town Center Blvd N., the location will feature a drive-through, a first for Shake Shack in Texas. Known for its Angus beef burgers, crinkle-cut fries and milkshakes made from real ice-cream, the New York-based burger chain has 21 locations in Texas and five in the Houston area.features crispy chicken sandwiches and Vienna-beef hotdogs. Vegetarian options include the portobello 'Shroom Burger and the Veggie Shack burger. All menu items have the option of being prepared with gluten-free buns or as a lettuce wrap.
The drive-through features a digital menu board, a two-lane ordering system and a separate pick-up window, according to the release. For its grand opening, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold June 22 at the Sugar Land restaurant to theAdditionally, the first wave of guests will receive a voucher for a Sugar Land Space Cowboys game this season as well as a Sugar Land-themed tote bag featuring a design by local artist Michael C. Rodriguez, who created the mural at the Sugar Land Shake Shack.
