Firefighters responded to the Bridge fire in the area of East Fork Road near Glendora Mountain Road in San Gabriel Canyon, the Angeles National Forest said on social media around 2:16 p.m. The fire was within Cattle Canyon, officials said. Visitors were evacuated from the forest above the Glendora area as crews called for a second-alarm response. Crews responded from the air and ground to attack the fire and prepared an effort to hold containment at Glendora Ridge Road.
