Henry’s Majestic will slide into West Dallas, where Chicken Scratch and The Foundry once were.
The building housing Henry's Majestic was sold in 2022. By early July 2023, excavators started tearing down the patio, and the building is now completely gone.the original home of Henry’s Majestic on McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas. The restaurant had been open since 2014, and a related speakeasy named Atwater Alley opened soon after. Both closed when the landlord sold the building last year, and now the property has been flattened.
The new Henry’s Majestic will take up two acres and will have a spacious, dog-friendly patio with live music. Owners Andrew Popp and Feliza Macias plan to install a misting system to make Henry’s a year-round outdoor spot.Atwater Alley will reopen in West Dallas eventually, but Henry’s Majestic will open first.
