Former Detroit Lions and Indianapolis Colts head coach Jim Caldwell is interviewing for Denver’s vacant head coaching job, a league source confirmed to The Post on Wednesday morning.
The interview is taking place in-person Wednesday and was first reported by CBS Sports.
He has interviewed for several head coaching jobs in the more recent past, including Jacksonville and Chicago last winter. In addition to the Broncos, Caldwell has reportedly already interviewed for the Carolina head coaching job earlier this week. Caldwell follows the trend for most of Denver’s other six known candidates in this cycle in that he has head coaching experience.
