Energy bills are due to soar in October with the Ofgem price cap expected to rise from £1,568 to £1,723
With the next Ofgem price cap adjustment on the horizon, UK households are being advised to take action to mitigate the expected increase in energy bills. From October, gas and electricity costs are predicted to jump due to not only the approach of the cooler months but also because of the anticipated rise in the Ofgem price cap from £1,568 to £1,723.
They work by restricting the amount of water that comes through your shower head, resulting in less water for the same length of a shower. You could also save an extra £61 by cutting your shower down from seven minutes to four minutes.' These two minor changes could result in a saving of £132.
