A bride has labelled one of her wedding guests “trashy”, after the guest wore a gold dress to the nuptials. But the guest has expressed her shock at the bride’s description of her — and has turned to the internet for assurance that she was not in the wrong with her choice of outfit. The wedding guest explained on Reddit that she had been long-time best friends with the groom. And she said that, despite only ever having had a platonic relationship with him, his now-wife had always disliked her.
But the bride took issue with the woman’s choice of dress, and said: “I cannot believe you would wear gold to my wedding. You’re not the first prize, you’re just f*****g trashy”. “I was so shocked in the moment, I just stared at her,” the woman said on the Reddit thread. “She practically screamed at me to leave, and she was drawing attention. “So I grabbed my husband, said goodbye to my friend and left.
