Prior to his time in Pittsburgh, Flores coached the Dolphins for three seasons, compiling a 24-25 record and failing to reach the playoffs.
He was fired by the Dolphins in January 2022. Flores has also interviewed for head coaching positions with the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, and the Denver Broncos.
