Jets fans might want to cover their ears for this remark from Breece Hall.

When Breece Hall was asked on Saturday whether he feels good about remaining with the Jets for the long term, the 24-year-old gave a rather ominous answer, saying that “whatever happens, happens.”“You know, I don’t know,” Hall told The Post’s Erich Richter on Saturday during a trading card event at Long Island Sports Cards.

“I’ve addressed this for the last six, seven months now. But now I’m just kind of like whatever happens, happens.” Hall said it was also nice to interact with Jets fans during Saturday’s event hosted in Albertson after having a low-key offseason thus far. “It was good,” Hall said of seeing supporters. “In the offseason, I’ve been keeping a low profile. So it was good to get around some fans and get some love.”Hall had a career-best season in 2025, rushing for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career and notching 57 first downs and scoring four touchdowns.Do the Jets need to pick Arvell Reese at No. 2? | Gang’s All HereNevertheless, Hall’s future with the Jets is up in the air, with the running back expected to hit free agency in March.Breece Hall reacts after an apparent injury during the fourth quarter of the Jets’ loss to the Patriots at MetLife Stadium on Dec. 28, 2025.“I’m just where my feet are, and letting God and my agent handle everything else,” he said. “I feel like my play speaks for itself, considering the situations I’ve been in the last few years. I’m going to get everything that’s coming to me, so I’m not too worried about it.”, with the expected cost for running backs in 2026 at $14.5 million, and the deadline to apply the tag is March 3. As the deadline approaches, Jets general manager Darren Mougey has yet to reveal whether the team is willing to use the franchise or transition tag to keep Hall,“Breece is a good player,” Mougey said then. “I want as many good players back as we can. We’ll go through this process and see how free agency unfolds.”
