Passengers on board a red saloon car, including a child, were taken to hospital after a police patrol car smashed into its rear
Among the injured is a girl who went to hospital with an arm injury.
Both cars suffered significant damage in the shunt. The driver of the red saloon suffered only minor injuries but their passengers were more seriously hurt and had to be taken to hospital. Pictures from the scene showed both vehicles suffered significant damage. Video seen by the M.E..N. showed a liveried police patrol car smashed into the rear of a red car.
