“I didn’t get sober for this to be so hard,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum told her Instagram followers. “I’m like, ‘What now?'”
The news comes after the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum, 44, told her Instagram followers about the “hard time” she was experiencing and posted a graphic about going through “trials.”
“When I got sober, I thought, ‘OK, now I’m not gonna drink and everything is gonna be easy,'” Windham-Burke said via Stories on Thursday. “I did not realize the s–t that was coming my way. “Every time I think it can’t get worse, it does,” she continued. “When does this end? I do have these moments like, ‘I didn’t get sober for this to be so hard.'”
The former Bravo personality concluded by “laughing” about her pain and telling others struggling that they are “not alone.” “At the end of the day, I’m like, ‘What now?'” she said. “But I do know ‘what now.’ I’m not gonna drink.”Windham-Burke went on to enjoy “mani pedi time” with her 4-year-old daughter, Hazel, whom she shares with her husband, Sean Burke.
