Arthur's side are still in the play-off hunt.
Brad Arthur has declared that Leeds Rhinos ' Super League play-off hopes are in their 'own hands' after a 'professional' performance against Hull FC. The Rhinos hammered the woeful Black and Whites 68-6 at Headingley on Friday night, with Alfie Edgell scoring four of his sides ten tries.
Leeds head to Wigan Warriors next week before facing Hull KR in the final round, with Arthur pleased with the job his side did on Hull, especially a second half account that didn't see standards drop after a 32-0 half-time lead. And as for Friday's game, Arthur continued: "It was a pretty professional performance. We showed a good level of composure and patience. We built into the game nicely at the start, especially on the back of last week when we lacked a bit of discipline and patience.
Crossing over for four tries, Edgell was the star for Leeds, with Brodie Croft and Andy Ackers also catching the eye. On Edgell, Athur said: "He’s a good kid, and he trains hard. He does all the right things, he is a bit quiet, but he just goes about his business.
