Leeds Rhinos defeated Catalans once again after a strong second half show.
Brad Arthur believes a more direct line of attack was the catalyst for Leeds Rhinos ' 18-6 victory over Catalans Dragons on Friday night. The Rhinos kept their play-off chase alive at Headingley, with Arthur's side now just two points behind their French counterparts with four rounds to go.
Catalans, meanwhile, led 6-0 at half-time after a try from Arthur Romano, with Leeds going too lateral instead of forward. But the change in approach after the break delighted Arthur, with his side sticking to what they spoke about heading into the clash. "That was our plan—to challenge the line and get into the line really hard and aggressively. In the first half, I felt like we ambled into the line at half pace, tried to get some long passes on, and didn't really challenge the line."
