Boston investor buys 1.4M-SF industrial portfolio

The company announced the acquisition of the Sunbelt Infill Portfolio, consisting of 13 industrial properties totaling more than 1.4 million square feet across Atlanta, Houston, Tampa and Orlando. Industrial vacancy in the southern U.S. fell to 4.5 percent in the first quarter, down from 7.7 percent in the first quarter of 2021, according to commercial real estate firm CBRE. Nationally, industrial rents rose 11.8 percent over the year to a record $8.94 per square foot.
