Smith was charged with murder, and investigators believe he fired the shot that killed 25-year-old Caitlin Stup, an uninvolved woman aboard the bus on Jan. 7. Two weeks ago, Smith was reprimanded during a court appearance, when Harris County Judge Brian Warren interrupted proceedings to scold Smith for “rolling his eyes.”The shooting stemmed from a disagreement between Smith and Patrick Scott, 18, who was also aboard the bus.
