“It’s hectic and it’s stressful and all that kind of stuff, but this is why you play, this is why you play 162,” the Blue Jays manager said hours before it turned out that their last game wouldn’t determine their playoff fate. “Just go out and play. We had 15 left at the time. And you know what? You might as well just go empty the tank every day,” he said recently.
