Shaun Williams scored twice as the Blitzboks sunk Spain to edge closer to the Hong Kong Sevens quarter-finals on Friday.
A brace from the nippy Williams helped the Springbok Sevens claim a 24-10 win against Spain and continue their unbeaten start to the tournament, after winning the opening fixture against Ireland.Spain, who stunned Samoa 17-14 in their opener, gave the Blitzboks a tough outing and saw plenty of possession after taking an early lead in the match.Spain were quickest out of the blocks in the second half and cut the deficit to two points.
The game went into overtime as Spain tried to grab a losing bonus point, but Williams was on hand to intercept a floating pass to complete his brace.
