Bill Belichick didn't mince words on his speculative plan to use his newly appointed coaching position at the University of North Carolina as a route back into the NFL.'I didn't come here to leave,' Belichick said on Thursday.The eight-time Super Bowl winner officially agreed to become the Tar Heels' next head coach on Wednesday, signing a five-year, $50 million deal.
The rumor that UNC would serve as a vehicle for his NFL return wasn't the only rumor he squashed, too. Belichick also addressed the reported 400-page document that contained a list of demands he was 'unwilling to negotiate' with the university.'Don't believe everything you read in the paper.
