Emergency services were called to the scene earlier today
Several emergency vehicles including police and paramedics were spotted at the roundabout where Hough Green Road meets Prescot Road in Widnes .
Emma Manson, 32, from Widnes, is the assistant manager at the nearby Four Topped Oak pub. She told the ECHO earlier this afternoon: “There’s been quite a few police cars. “I was supposed to be at work at 2pm. I got a text saying, ‘you need to come in, the police are all here.’ That was at 1.40pm.”A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said the force received a report just before 2pm that there had been an accident on Hough Green Road. Officers headed to there and found a man who had come off his motorbike on the roundabout. An ambulance was called and the man was treated at the scene for pain to his leg and shoulder.
